Mark Perez

Before founding Go Cleaning, LLC, I spent over a decade working in a startup company in California’s oil industry, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges and triumphs of growing a business. During that time, I learned valuable lessons about leadership, teamwork, and the grit it takes to succeed. As I progressed in my career, I became a mentor and leader within the organization, helping others grow alongside me.

But something was missing. I was often away from my family, missing out on precious moments, and the company I worked for wasn’t moving forward the way I’d hoped. I knew I needed a change.

My passion for business began during my teenage years when I worked with my aunt and uncle in their cleaning business. I watched them go from three employees to twenty in just a year, and I saw what it takes to build a successful company from the ground up. That experience stayed with me. When I made the decision to leave the oil field and pursue something more meaningful, I consulted with my family. Their guidance and success in running their own businesses inspired me to take the leap.

I’m resilient, competitive, and I pay close attention to detail because I believe that’s what sets us apart. I’m committed to providing the best service possible to every client. For me, running a business is about more than just providing a service—it’s about building relationships, creating opportunities for others, and doing work that you can be proud of. Every project we take on, big or small, is a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.

Victor Perez

Once upon a time in Bakersfield, CA, I embarked on my career journey in the oil field industry. For eight years, I worked diligently at a prominent oil company, immersing myself in the technical intricacies and challenges of the field. Those years were filled with long hours, demanding projects, and the camaraderie of colleagues who shared the same passion for energy and innovation. I gained invaluable experience, developed a strong work ethic, and learned the importance of safety and teamwork in a high-stakes environment.

However, as much as I appreciated my time in the oil industry, a part of me always yearned for something different—a chance to connect more with the community and my family. This desire grew stronger when my family launched a cleaning business in 2014. They were passionate about providing quality cleaning services, and I watched from a distance as they worked tirelessly to build something special.

One day, after much contemplation, I decided to make a bold move. I transitioned from the oil field to join my family's cleaning business. It was a significant shift, but I felt a deep sense of purpose and excitement. I wanted to bring the same dedication and professionalism I had learned in the oil industry to this new venture.

In the beginning, the transition was challenging. I had to learn the ins and outs of the cleaning industry—from managing schedules and customer relationships to understanding various cleaning products and techniques.
